This Australian Fern has become one of my favorites over the years. Called the 'Kangaroo Paw Fern' because the long leaves are supposedly reminiscent of a long Kangaroo foot. Leaves can get 1 foot long and plants sprawl outward 2 - 3 feet. One interesting thing noted about this fern is that on occasion, when moistened, its foliage or wondering rhizome stems, not sure which, can give off a slight Sandalwood-like fragrance that is quite woodsy and fresh. It's a beautiful surprise.
